The staff will be following a three-strikes formula. Disobey these rules once, get banned for 24 hours. Second time equals a week. 3rd is pernament. Of course, apologies often (but not always) solve the problem.
The Rules:
1) No foul language-
Many children will no doubtly find this site, and is bad language really a good way for a hero to get his/her point across?Moderate swears (Hell, damn) are tolerated, but no "R-rated" language is to be used.
2) No insulting remarks towards other members.
This will be excused in the case of joking, as long as no party is offended. If someone accidentaly offends another member, the admins will give the offender a chance to apologize.
3) No slurs, bad language, or harmful remarks aimed at someone's race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexuality will be tolerated. Failure to comply will count as 2 strikes.
4) No links to inappropriate sites, videos, or pictures are to be posted (i.e. porn). A user can post a link to a video, pic or site that breaks this rule if:
-It is relevent to the topic at hand, and
-A warning is posted.
For example, a topic asks members to post videos of their favorite bands. A member could post a video of a concert where the band uses foul language and ladies in the audience flash the cameras, but above the video there has to be a clear warning (WARNING: This video contains breif nudity and adult language). This also goes for websites, often sites aimed at teaching self defense will use foul language or graphic images.
5) No private messages are to be posted on the public forum without the consent of all members involved.
6) No private information (phone numbers, full real names, etc)is to be posted.
7)No member is to condone or encourage illegal activity.
